Good Reading
I'm addicted to reading. Maybe it's because it is the only get away I get during the day. I recently read 2 great books by Merrilee Boyack. The Parenting Breakthrough is a good book about helping your kids be independant adults eventually. It's got some great ideas in it. The other one is called Strangling Your Husband Is Not an Option. It's a fun read and helps you prioritize things better. She's a great writer.

Homeschool
As most of you know we have decided to homeschool our kids. Walker is actually in a preschool this year for 3 days a week. We have really enjoyed homeschooling. The kids do really well and have fun learning. We have school in the morning at 9am, complete with recess. Depending on what extra activities we have we are usually done by 12 or 2pm and the kids have the rest of the afternoon for friends, playing, soccer, and fieldtrips.

Roman Dinner
In school we have been learning about ancient Rome. So we set up a Roman Cafe for dinner. The boys wore togas. We made some Roman food, menus, signs and money. We also had pillows on our chairs (I wouldn't let them eat on the couch like Romans did). It was fun! In the middle of the table in a grasshopper in a jar that the boys caught. They thought it would be a nice touch for our meal!!!
